Back-of-house break rooms and office kitchens
Every Napa business that looks after guests also has a room where its own people refuel. In an office it is the kitchen by the copier; at a hotel or winery it is the back-of-house break room where the front desk team or tasting room staff grab coffee between shifts. When that room runs dry, someone leaves their real job to make a grocery run. Napa Janitorial’s pantry restocking takes the run off their plate. We buy what your team likes, stock it on a fixed schedule and leave the room in order.
We run it as a standalone service, separate from cleaning and from restroom stock, so a winery or hotel can book it no matter who handles its cleaning.
Staffing swings through harvest and summer
Busy seasons change who is in the building. When summer weekends or harvest bring extra tasting-room staff, cellar crews or hotel shifts, a staff room that served a dozen people in winter may be feeding many more by early fall. We raise the order for those months, add a restock day if the room needs it, and bring things back down when the season eases, so you aren’t paying for cases of water nobody drinks in winter.
Offices see smaller swings, but they still happen: a new hire class, a busy quarter, a quiet holiday week. Tell us about the change and the next round follows it.
Who it suits
- Offices downtown and in the business parks, from a small practice to a full floor.
- Coworking spaces, where members expect the coffee counter to be ready whenever they drop in.
- Clinics and medical suites, where staff eat in short gaps between patients.
- Shops with a back room for employee breaks.
- Hospitality teams at hotels and tasting rooms, whose staff rooms see people on every shift.
What we buy
- For the coffee corner: ground and whole-bean coffee, pods, a range of teas, half-and-half, oat and almond milk, sugar and sweetener packets.
- To snack on: seasonal fruit, mixed nuts, cereal and protein bars, pretzels, crackers and a little chocolate.
- To drink: bottled and sparkling water, juices, sodas and other chilled drinks.
- For the kitchen itself: hot and cold cups with lids, stir sticks, coffee filters, plates, bowls, flatware and napkins.
Staff who spend the day pouring for guests often want something plain and quick for themselves, while an office team might want a well-stocked coffee bar. The order is built around your people, not a standard kit.
Setting up the order
We begin with what you want bought, any dietary needs among your staff, and the monthly allowance you are comfortable with. Gluten-free, vegan, nut-free and low-sugar items are written into the order and come with every restock, alongside everything else.
Staff can pass requests along at any time, and they go into the next round’s shopping. Items that keep coming back unopened are dropped so the allowance goes to things people use.
Restock days on a fixed schedule
Restocks run on a set schedule, weekly, twice weekly or on the rhythm that fits your staff count and season. On each visit we unpack and shelve the new stock, bring older items to the front, clear out anything expired and reload the coffee corner with coffee, filters, cups and milk.
The room is left tidy every time. Counters and tables get a wipe, the coffee corner loses its drips and torn sugar packets, our shelves and fridge section are squared away, and any full trash or recycling bag goes out. The background-checked staff assigned to your account handle every round.
Alongside your cleaning visits
When Napa Janitorial also provides your recurring janitorial cleaning, restock days can be planned around your cleaning nights, so the two visits never crowd each other. Properties with porter service can add a quick check of coffee, milk and fruit during busy hours.
If your own staff or another company handles the cleaning, pantry restocking runs on its own schedule just the same.
Where Napa’s offices are
Downtown Napa holds multi-tenant office buildings above and between the shops, while the business parks at the south end of the valley floor combine office, flex and light industrial space. Public agency offices and multi-suite medical office buildings round out the mix.
From a downtown suite to a business park building, the restock schedule is set around your hours. Larger sites can pair it with business park cleaning.
What it costs
Groceries for the staff room are paid from a monthly allowance you decide. Our own charge reflects how many staff the room serves, how long the shopping list is, how many break rooms we keep and how often we come, and each of those appears in the quote.
Restroom tissue, towels, soap and sanitizer are part of our separate janitorial supplies service, and the two can share a schedule.
A few useful answers
Common questions.
Can you restock a hotel or winery staff room as well as an office kitchen?
Yes. Back-of-house break rooms are restocked the same way, on a schedule that fits your shifts and season.
Can you stock extra for harvest crews?
Yes. We raise quantities for harvest and the busy summer months, and can add a restock day while seasonal staff are on.
Who sets the monthly allowance?
You do. We buy inside it every round and shift spending toward what your staff actually use.
Is pantry restocking open to businesses that clean with their own staff?
Yes. Any Napa business can book it by itself; if we also clean for you, restock days can follow your cleaning nights.
